Noe-29, Salmon 11-F, W-930, the classic variety shown on the cover of the ‘The Silver Coinage of Massachusetts’ by Sydney P. Noe.  Considered to be Rarity-3.

And this is a lovely lustrous piece which seems to have been net graded by PCGS for some not atypical striking weakness in the legends, since it looks better than AU53 to us.  Indeed, there are myriad delicate raised die lines in the fields indicating that this coin has received very little actual wear.

With superb toning too, similar to a couple of fantastic pieces of Massachusetts silver in Stack’s October 2005 sale of the Ford Collection, Part XII, though those brought considerably more than our price for this specimen.
