Large Planchet, Noe 1 variety, early die state without the cuds near the date as often seen on this type.
Listed on page 37 of the 2006 Guide Book and there described as the Pellets at Trunk type.
A collectible XF40, and not easy to locate as such.
The strike could be categorized as typical for the issue, with weakness to the lower obverse, while the centering, often a significant problem on Massachusetts silver coins, is exceptionally good.
There are some bumps and marks and a couple of thin reverse scratches bespeaking 350 years of existence, but the overall impression is nice.
