The scarce and desirable ‘a’ sub-variant of this Noe number given a distinct designation due to its better obverse centering with nearly complete legends.  In contrast, the typical Noe-33 is significantly off-center, with the upper obverse legend often completely off the planchet.

Making this the Pine Tree 6p of choice for colonial type collectors, and an issue we always seek (but seldom find) for the website.
