Noe-33A, W-670, Salmon 2*-B variety.  Considered to be Rarity-5+.  33.7 grains.

The rare and desirable ‘A’ sub-variant’ of this Noe number given a distinct designation due to its better obverse centering with nearly complete legends.  In contrast, the typical Noe-33 is significantly off-center, with the upper obverse legend often completely off the planchet.

Making this the Pine Tree 6p of choice for specialists in this series, and an issue we always try to obtain when the opportunity presents itself.  As it did with this charming, old toned and relatively affordable example which resided in the Newman Collection for decades.
