With rich silvery-gray color, original luster in the protected areas and some pretty blue and golden toning on both the obverse and reverse. 

Struck on a slightly oval planchet as is sometimes seen on this variety, and as a result slightly weak at the right and left edges, but sharp in the centers and most impressive as such.
