A fascinating if dizzying example with a boldly double struck obverse, featuring two portraits, two sets of obverse legends (and actually some remnants of a 3rd strike buried therein).

And these features are all especially clear on this lovely, well centered, evenly struck, all original example with far better color and surfaces than your typical Connecticut. Just a few, old scratches in the left reverse field bear mention, but they are overwhelmed by the overall quality of this piece.
