October 21, 2024: "Pristine Pistareen"

Concept:
I don’t know about you, but I have always found the word ‘pistareen’ (a possible corruption of the Spanish Peseta and referring to a Spanish silver coin worth two reales, used as common currency in the Americas in the 18th century) to be interesting, memorable, and frankly a little goofy, and thus perfect for a CRO ad caption.

Like this one highlighting the stunning, old toned, MS65 pistareen which is the subject of this week’s ad.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We tried to think of other alternatives, but the only word that started with ‘p’, seemed suitably alliterative and kinda rhymed was ‘pristine’.

So that’s what we used.
