Maris 50-f, W-5475 variety, one of just three varieties in this loooong series with the horse’s head facing to the left.  Considered to be Rarity-3.

And this is a pleasing mid grade example of this popular type, and the first one of these we’ve liked enough to buy in a while.

Just some minor planchet fissures on the obverse, and the always-seen depression in the center of the shield, as made, are noted for accuracy, but overall this is an all original, medium brown VF example of a type that gets very pricey in XF (if you can find one).
