Maris 65-u, W-5500 variety, with a horse slightly resembling a crocodile in your author’s opinion.  Early Die State.  Considered to be Rarity-4, but quite tough to find in any sort of decent condition. 

And while this one is not perfect, with some surface roughness and a few scattered marks commensurate with the grade, it is well and evenly struck on a nice, broad, round planchet and displays extremely wholesome, original chocolate brown color.
