Miller 33.36-T.2, W-3900 Skeleton Hand variety, Draped Bust Left type. Considered to be Rarity-3.
One of the most interesting types in the Connecticut series, and certainly the creepiest with the bony-handed seated figure on the reverse.
And while this one is not perfectly struck, it is the highest graded example we’ve ever owned, with hard lustrous surfaces, the all important skeleton hand as sharp as we’ve ever seen on one of these, and actual 18th century mint red lingering in the devices (and thus enabling a possible future ‘Red Skeleton’ CRO ad caption).
