E-1139B variety, struck in White Metal. 51 mm.
First of three early 19th century world map medals on this list which can be dated based on the place names used, such as the Sandwich Islands for what is now Hawaii and New Holland for Australia. Also of note (and not surprising given the era) the United States is seen shoehorned into the eastern seaboard of North America.
And this is a superb, original gem as nice as any we’ve ever offered of this white metal issue.
