KM-459 variety, Jose Maria Morelos type. Struck at the Mexico City mint.

Not a rare issue, but this is the most fantastic toned example we’ve ever owned (or seen, actually), with vibrant shades of green, bright gold and brilliant red on the obverse, and electric cobalt, fuchsia, teal green and gold on the reverse (with our apologies to any colors we did not specifically name, including that patch of chartreuse along the left obverse rim).
