A scarce type with an obverse portrait of Louis XV, and a neat reverse scene of bees moving from one hive to another surrounded by the legend which translates as “they change their home but not their hearts.”

And this is a lovely, lustrous example with superb teal green, rose and golden toning on the obverse and reverse.
