Concept:
Here we have an idea so straightforward and clear that when presented to us by our guest author we were a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y convinced that we had used it before.

But after a thorough search of every ad we’ve ever run since 2006, we found only a single indirect Top Gun reference in a rejected ad here, and thus were free and clear to use this week’s caption to highlight our superb, original, mint state Gun Money ½Crown.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
There were none.

When we saw this one, and concluded it had not been used before, we went for it.
