BHM-2363 variety, Struck in Silver.
Bearing the dramatic exterior view of London’s famous St. Paul’s Cathedral on one side, and an incredibly detailed 3-D interior view on the other.
And while this issue (like all Wiener Medals) can be found in bronze, this is the only silver example we’ve ever had a chance to buy of any variety. Indeed, we have found just one other silver Wiener Cathedral medal referenced anywhere, and that was a different variety described as unlisted in silver and shown on an informational site (and thus totally, thoroughly and completely not for sale.)
But this one is! And it is a nice near gem with unmistakably silver surfaces dramatically toned in shades of violet, pale rose, chartreuse and indigo in an unusual pattern on the ‘exterior’ side after having been displayed on a stand for many years.
Suffice it to say that this is a most unusual opportunity unlikely to come again soon.
This coin is from the CRO archives and is not currently available for sale.
