Actually, this is a Fuld-NY-630BH-2a Civil War Token produced by Christian Rauh Confectioners in 1863.  But we like to call it ‘The Rooster’.

By whatever name, this piece is in absurd, gem-and-a-half, pristine condition with some of the most breathtaking original toning we’ve ever seen on any coin, token or medal ever.

Destined for someone’s ‘Box of 20’, and rightly so.
