A blazing example of this first year of issue with rich golden color and a hint of green toning. 

This piece also exhibits an interesting clashmark pointed out by one of our eagle-eyed customers.  Special thanks  to Ben Karr of Becoka Coins for spotting this, and for creating the cool overlay image to illustrate how this happened at the mint.  When the dies came together without a blank planchet in between, part of the reverse image was impressed into the obverse die.

That doesn’t make this piece any more valuable, but it sure is cool.
