A crusty, beautiful and original coin from the early days of the New Orleans mint, and a really hard thing to find like this.

But don’t take our word for it.  Go to any major show and pore through all of the dealer cases and auction lots.

Finding even one original example is an unusual occurrence.  And we fully expect these to become even more scarce in the years ahead as the coin doctoring community guts the existing supply.
