Betts-615, a classic piece which has a rightful place in any collection of early American issues. 

Conceived by Benjamin Franklin, the obverse depicts Miss Liberty as later adopted on the 1793 Half Cent. 

The reverse legend NON SINE DIIS ANIMOSUS INFANS is Latin for "The Courageous Child was Aided by the Gods", as in the courageous infant America aided by the Goddess Minerva (symbolizing France) in the struggle against England. 

A nice piece, and a pretty good value at this price level.
